Week 4 College Football picks...
Since I have dawdled this week the picks will be short and sweet this week.
3 Georgia at Arizona St.- Dawgs have Knowshon Moreno and Matt Stafford, Sun Devils have a mascot named Sparky. Take the Dawgs and lay the 7pts.
4 Florida at Tennessee- Gators have looked great against nobodies, UT looked not so hot against a UCLA team that got beat by 59 last week against BYU. Take the Gators lay the 7.5.
Buffalo at 5 Missouri- The Tigers have eviserated lower level opponents this year, are a 34 pt favorite here. Lay 'em, they'll cover.
6 LSU at 10 Auburn- Both teams have stout Ds, both teams have major questions on offense. Auburn simply doesn't appear to have an offense, and LSU hasn't identified a QB yet. The home team has won 8 straight in this series, aw screw the trend take LSU and lay the 2.5.
Rice at 7 Texas- Rice has shown plenty of ability to score thus far, but very little ability to stop anyone. Texas looks very strong. I'm taking the Longhorns and laying the 29.
9 Alabama at Arkansas- Arkansas is easily the worst team in the SEC. Frankly I'm surprised the line is only 9.5. Lay the points, Bama rolls.
12 S. Florida at FIU- S. Florida looks good but 28.5 is too rich for my blood on the road. The Bulls win, but take FIU and the points.
Troy at 13 Ohio St- The Buckeyes get the Trojans again, this time in the form of Troy. The line is 20.5 and I think OSU covers as they try to put last week behind them.
Wyoming at 14 BYU- If BYU can beat UCLA by 59, they can beat Wyoming by 28.5, lay the points.
15 East Carolina at NC State- ECU has been rolling, so I'm staying with them. Lay the 7.5 and take the Pirates.
Temple at 16 Penn State- Another big spread, but Temple is lousy and Penn St. is averaging over 50 pts a game. Lay the 28.5 take the Lions.
Boise St. at 17 Oregon- Oregon is down to its third string QB, Boise St is not what it has been in past years but they are still good. I'll take the Broncos and the 10.5 against the Ducks.
18 Wake Forest at 24 Florida St.- Is Wake the best team in the ACC? I think so, so I'm taking the Deacons and the 4 pts against the Noles.
