I'm also no great fan of Chris Hitchens either, whose Iraq war cheerleading has made him one of the finest examples of chickenhawk ever produced by the right wing intellectual mindset. However, I must give him credit for his absolute excoriation of the late Mr. Falwell on the Hannity & Colmes show the other day. As an added bonus he took a couple of shots at Ralph Reed as well, who was also on as a guest opposite him. My favorite line is at the very end, when Hitchens states of Falwell, "if that man had an enema, he could've been buried in a matchbox." Peep the video below:

A cop takes marijuana from a couple of suspects, bakes brownies with it. And then goes all wiggy and calls 911 thinking he's overdosing. Nevermind that you literally can't OD on pot, and someone who's in law enforcement should probably know that. Oh, and by the way genius using pot in baked goods often enhances the feelings that one typically experiences when they are stoned, like say, paranoia. Also I was glad to see he was concerned about the Stanley Cup playoffs during his "death throes".
