Speaking of great sports disasters...
Check out this footage of former Thrasher now Dallas Star Patrik Stefan blowing a game clinching, empty net goal opportunity, only to see the Oilers go down the other end of the ice and tie the game with 2.1 seconds left. This is a hockey play so amazingly inept it really must be seen to be believed. And this guy was once the first pick in the NHL draft. Sigh.

might have had more than 82 yds of offense if they hadn't lost Ted Ginn, Jr? Given how much they were demolished by I'm not certain he'd have made much difference in the overall outcome, but it likely would have been a better game. Too bad we find out now he was injured by his OWN TEAMMATE during the celebration of his opening kickoff return. This is like the football version of hari-kiri.
