Hillary not seeing the writing on the wall...
With last night's results in North Carolina(big Obama win) and Indiana(narrow Clinton win), it has become increasingly clear that Barack Obama is going to be the Democratic nominee. Facing a delegate deficit of around 150, a popular vote deficit of over 700,000, and the calls of Democratic leaders to get out of the race; there is literally no path to the nomination for Clinton that doesn't involve some kind of epic disaster for Obama.
So how is Hillary reacting? Well, she is loaning her campaign more money. This morning the Clinton campaign said that they will continue to fight for the nomination, well, because; she has the best chance to beat McCain, she wins all the really important states, and darn it, white people really like her. Then Howard Wolfson, a Clinton campaign official said, when talking about Florida and Michigan:
"This is a country of 50 states."
Coming from the campaign that has spent the last three months dismissing as irrelevant any state that Clinton lost, this was laughable at its best.

All 50 states matter, unless they didn't vote for me.
During the flurry of goalpost moving that the Clinton campaign has engaged in since Super Tuesday, I have often tried to think of what personality Clinton most reminds me of. It hit me this morning, Hillary is the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail:
Just look at the similarities: "I bow to no man." or "In my White House, we will know who wears the pantsuits." "It's only a flesh wound" or "It's about picking a President." "Allright then we'll call it a draw" or "Indiana is the tie breaker."
Delusion is not becoming, madame. Oh, and spare us the gas tax pander. First off reducing the price of gas by 18 cents is less than 5% of what most motorists are paying right now, hardly worth the effort. Secondly, given the fact that oil prices have more than doubled in the last 18 months, how long do you REALLY think it will take for that 18 cents to be eaten up by the rising cost of oil? A day? A week? This is such a meaningless pander that it insults other meaningless panders. Even flag pins feel their intelligence has been insulted.

Slow down there pander bear.
