Random sports musings...
I see Reggie Ball is now ineligible for the Gator Bowl. Anyone else think Tech fans are wishing this had happened 2 games ago?
The Atlanta Hawks managed to blow a 21 point 4th quarter lead in losing to the Utah Jazz last night. For those Hawks fans that remain the team would like to apologize. They'll be sending Christmas presents to both of you.
Georgia and Georgia Tech hook up in basketball tomorrow night at the Big MacArena. The Dogs picked to finish last in the SEC East have been a pleasant surprise so far. The Jackets with 2 McDonald's All Americans amongst a heralded freshman class have looked like Paul Hewitt's latest version of style over substance. Sundiata Gaines' injury could be the key in this game. If he is healthy and can play at his usual level, I think Georgia wins. If not, then Tech probably takes this one.
Is it possible for T.O. to lose to the same team quarterbacked by both Donovan McNabb and Jeff Garcia(AKA the guys T.O. verbally knifed in the back at his last two NFL stops) in the same year? If there is a sense of football karma this just has to happen. I'd love to see that postgame press conference. Terrell explain why both of the QBs you said weren't good enough to play with you kicked your ass this year? He might actually commit suicide then.
Marian Hossa is the best player in hockey right now. He almost had 2 shorthanded goals on the same powerplay the other night. There may be flashier guys or guys with more skill, but no one is playing better at a higher level at both ends of the ice this season than Hossa.

Were you looking for the puck? It's behind you.
