Just when you thought Oregon's uniforms...
couldn't possibly get any uglier, they decide to roll out these beauties at the Las Vegas Bowl.
Phil Knight is a jackass.
Apparently like one of those cheesy t-shirts you can buy at your nearest spring break location, these helmets can change color depending on lighting conditions. So this helmet could be either barf green or piss yellow depending on which of Oregon's colors is brought out by the stadium lighting, Sweet!
I don't know why people think this is innovative, if I placed a facemask on a bowling ball I'd get the same look. Not to mention when you look at the other sartorial innovations Oregon has brought us lately, its not like anyone is going to be following their lead.
Who designed these things, Xhibit? They look like they were created during an episode of Pimp My Football team.
