Pop Culture Cuisinart

Two University students involved in a auto accident, were mistakenly thought to be each other. The one student who died was thought to be Whitney Cerak. The other student who survived was thought to be Laura VanRyn. Cerak's parents had a large funeral for "their daughter", while the VanRyn's had a continuous vigil over the hospital bed of "their daughter". Turns out that Cerak was the one in the hospital bed and VanRyn was the one who died. I dunno but perhaps they should have checked the dead girl's dental records before they handed her over to the Cerak's. Besides I don't care how banged up someone is, how do you not know your own child? Strange story.
